3 Day Integration Extension

Cost $550 USD

The three-day integration workshop is designed to provide a smooth transition from intensive medicine work to an equally supportive environment where new tools can be learned and put into practice while exploring the Sacred Valley of the Incas.

Throughout the workshop, the continued unfolding of your healing process will be lovingly held as integration practices are guided and taught by experienced facilitators.  All of the tools and practices we share are carefully selected to strengthen your ability to implement the wisdom of both the plants and your own inner-guidance.

Working with ayahuasca invites us to set aside the distractions and habits of our day-to-day activities so that we can go inward to place our awareness on the true needs of our hearts and souls. When the ceremonies have ended, rather than jumping right back into our old grooves, it is good to take some time for integration. This is the part of the journey that invites us to sustain contact with our inner-being while slowly transitioning to an often-overwhelming world outside.

We recognize that Peru is full of beautiful archaeological sites and ancient wisdom that, when accessed, makes a visit feel much more complete. We are excited to guide you to some of our favorite sacred sites in such a way that invites your inner journey to continue unfolding. It is our job to maintain a safe container for the deep medicine work you will have just received, while having a bit of fun exploring the local area. After working with ayahuasca, there is a sensitive period that requires extra care to protect the integrity of the work, especially after completing a plant dieta. And, we are fully available to help you with anything that may arise during this time.

Andean wisdom keepers from the Q’ero nation will accompany us on these journeys so that we may receive direct teachings that help to strengthen our capacity and commitment to healing. Our Q’ero teachers carry beautiful medicine that has been passed down for generations upon generations. Their kindness and connection to nature is powerful medicine in and of itself. Through the practice of ayni (sacred reciprocity), we will connect with the spirit medicine of the Andes, and begin to co-create the life that is in ever-increasing alignment with the wisdom of our inner-being.

One of the most helpful pieces of medicine integration is being supported by those who have experiential insight into healing and growth.  Connecting with others who can help shine light on that which needs to be acknowledged, held, and healed, is the primary purpose of our workshop.  We realize that it can be difficult to maintain this connection when it is time to go back home.  For that reason, we have put together a basket of tools and practices that have profoundly benefited our own healing journeys.  We hope that the offerings we share throughout the integration workshop will help you to feel connected, guided and inspired to continue the work.

Somatic awareness

Body awareness practices are not only beneficial for working with trauma, but for connecting to the wisdom of the body, and regulating the nervous system as well.  This component of the workshop supports one’s ability to stay grounded inside and outside of ceremony.  The medicine often leads us to address traumas or intense inner conflicts, as such, it helps to approach these challenges with a reliable tool set; one that continues to be of service long after the retreat is over.

Dreams

Working with the plants has been known to blow one’s dream space wide open, and the beauty of dreams—like the wisdom of the body—is that they can be accessed whether or not ayahuasca is available.  By learning different ways to explore the images, symbols, metaphors, and sensations of dreams and ceremonies, you are better equipped to navigate the inner journey. Dreamwork is a wonderful way to stay engaged with your process and to invite new growth and connection into your life.

Psycho-spiritual integration

Ayahuasca has the potential to catalyze positive shifts in individual healing and spiritual development.  It is the sacred medicine of the Amazon whose reputation as a powerful teacher and astonishing healer continues to expand its global reach.  And for good reason, people are attracted to the mysterious medicine that helps lift the veil to reveal something greater: a precious connection that has been obscured by a modern-day fog; a nourishing contact with the divine nature of our being; the beginning of an uncannily synchronistic, challenging, and tender journey to the heart of healing and remembrance. It is not, however, a teacher to be approached without sincerity.  It is sure to test one’s courage, commitment, and skill at making good use of the contents that come pouring through the floodgates of the unconscious and transpersonal realms.  Preparation and integration are valuable resources for navigating the waves of difficult experience and powerful insight that help to wash away old habits and awaken our hidden potential.

The medicine is extraordinarily skillful at unearthing difficult psychological material and previously overwhelming experiences that have contributed to imbalances, blockages, and maladaptive patterns.  Fortunately, ayahuasca is also gifted at revealing the inner resources that one must call upon to meet these challenges, and, somehow, seems to know just the right time to do so.

By helping to strengthen one’s connection to Self—with its boundless capacity for love, compassion, and forgiveness—ayahuasca ensures that the ultimate resource for bringing unintegrated wounding into awareness has been contacted.  Of course, it is up to the individual to cultivate this connection and to realize its wisdom outside of ceremony.

Integration relies on a commitment to honoring the lessons and insights that come from both the plants and an ever-increasing connection to our deeper being.  It requires a letting go of conditioned tendencies that have outlived their usefulness, while inviting the formation of thoughts and actions that align with higher values and service to others.  This continuous process is undertaken as we call upon what has been learned during ceremony to inform our relationships, our work and contributions to the community, as well as our spiritual evolution.

Ayahuasca is a wonderful teacher, and as with all good teachers, there is a strong requirement for the student to do their own work. The gifts of healing become more rewarding when one takes an active role in integration. There are many wonderful practices and approaches available to promote full participation in the medicine journey. Once the right tools, practices, understanding, and experiential knowing have been accessed and developed, an increasing capacity to weave the gifts of the plants into the tapestry of our lives emerges.

Soul House Integration offers private integration sessions and workshops that are informed by our own deep medicine work. We share the tools, insights, and experience that continue to support our own process in a profound way. We want to make sure that you continue to receive the gifts of your healing long after the ceremony is over.
